The view!

Granted, it's no Empire State Building view (Katie Blum), but I do have a fun little glimpse of downtown OKC from my balcony. ;)

Bedroom/Closet

Spacious walk-in closet--yay!

Like I said, curtains and other wall decor will be hung soon!

My darling little kitchen

The kitchen is my favorite part of this apartment (besides maybe the closet). Also featured in this entry is the lovely bathroom.

I moved!

I am so excited to be in my new apartment in OKC. Minus the background noise from downtown OKC, I feel really peaceful here. And I am SOOO thankful to my wonderful momma for helping me move. :)

The pictures above are of the living area. I will hang curtains and other wall things soon... :) Also, I dare you to try and figure out which movie was playing on the tv as I snapped these photos.

Party #2

Saturday night (Tatianna's bachelorette party) started with dinner and a little lingerie party at Blu! Sheridan and I shared a yummy pepperoni pizza, which I woke up thinking about this morning, haha. It was that delicious.

Next, a stretch hummer picked us up and took us back to Michael Murphy's Piano Bar. Tati was quite the trooper. :)

For those that don't know, Tati has been one of my most fun friends since like sophomore year-ish. I think we became friends through Trey maybe? I don't know. But she is so funny and so awesome, and I can't wait for her wedding on August 15th!

So glad Sally was in town!

One Weekend, Two Bachelorette Parties

The weekend started on Friday evening for Sheridan's bachelorette party! Sheridan was one of my first friends freshman year (she bought me the KKG letters for my car :)), and stayed one of my closest Kappa friends throughout college. She's going to make such a beautiful bride!

The evening started with a little pole dancing class in Edmond. We got to try all sorts of tricks on the pole (we even went upside down!) and we got to let loose and dance a little too. ;) Needless to say, we were SORE the next day--it was quite the workout for my gangly arms.

Afterward, we had dinner at Bourbon Street downtown and hung out at Michael Murphy's Dueling Pianos (is that even the name of it? idk...). It was so fun hanging out with all the girls that I don't get to see as often anymore. Yay for Girls Night #1.

Em's Bachelorette Wknd!

This weekend, I got to travel to good ole Austin, TX for sweet Emily's bachelorette weekend! We got to relax at her fiance's river house and commemorate her last weeks of singleness. We laid by the water, ate good food, and had a little party ("Fairlawn," if you will) on Friday night. Her awesome maid of honor, Lexi, had lots of cute decorations and games that made the night so fun. Not to mention, Emily's momma was the LIFE of the party! Haha.

Also, for those that don't know, Emily has been my roommate for the summer. She is such a special friend to me--she is one of the reasons I pledged Kappa and was my saving grace on the pom squad. My first two years of college would not have been the same without her. Love you Em! Can't wait for the wedding on August 8th!

It's wedding season...

This weekend began the first of several weddings that I will be blessed to attend this summer. Sara Connery, a childhood friend and neighbor, got married on Friday in OKC. It was a fun reunion for elementary school friends! Steph, my akward left arm is outstretched in honor of you. We wish you could have been there!
I realize I'm a little late on the trend, but this is my first blog! Now that I have graduated, it seems all my friends and family continue to get a little more spread out. I thought I would use this little site as a means of providing life updates, etc. to all of you! I'm aiming to make an entry once a week. Enjoy. :)
